WIND POWER DIVISION :
During the year 1994-95 the Company installed and commissioned 2 nos Wind Turbine Generators of 250 KW each totalling 500 KW at Aralvaimozhi, Muppandal Taluk, Kanyakumari Dist., During the year 2001-2002 the Company commissioned a 225 kilowatt Vestas WTG increasing the installed capacity to 725 kilowatt. During the year 2002-2003 the Company further increased its installed capacity from 725 KW to 1.475 MW by commissioning one number 750 KW NEG Micon WTG. During the Financial year 2004-05 the Company has installed and commissioned a 600 KW Enercon WTG increasing the installed capacity to 2.075 MW. During the financial year 2005-06 the Company commissioned an additonal 500 KW Vestas RRB WTG thus enhancing the total installed capacity to 2.575 MW. In the financial year 2007-08 the capacity was increased to 2.8 MW by commissioning an additional 225 KW Vestas RRB WTG. During the financial year 2009-10 the company installed and commissioned a 1.65 MW Vestas WTG. The present intalled capacity of the Wind Power Division is 4.45 MW.
